It is not alright that we leave our children alone too much. Our children need our presence in their lives at all levels. It is a different world, and the world has not prepared them for life, but only for death. Look at the movies and other entertainment; I am speaking from understanding from my tour in the military. The average kid could pick up any weapon and start working out. Only because they have had so much practice in the video games about gangs and gang banging and violence, and from movies, etc. The children play these images in their minds over and over again. They could be using that energy for education and creativity. Our children can be proficient in a short amount of time with anything. The system is setting up our children to be killed and have no self-esteem and no standards of living. This system is just set up for them to do what they want and when they want it. We have turned our children over to a system to fail. We must regain our structure of relationship with our children and family. For some this is difficult but you have start at some point. It takes time to heal but it is done everyday.
When you look around in your communities, activities and normal occurrences, start changing. That is the key; For us to continue to prepare and encourage your family on the importance of strong family ties because it is times of crisis. Family becomes the real source of strength for all needs.
We may think that many things in this life are out of your control. But YOU have CONTROL OF YOURSELVES & FAMILY. We need to keep their minds healthy and bodies safe.
Let me tell you, You need to stop looking outside of yourself for help. All the help you need is WITHIN YOU. Everything is You. Your reality is what you want it to be. You have power from your Ancestors- God/Goddess and Guardian of the Universe to assist you as they assisted Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X, Dr Martin Luther King, Sojourner Truth, Harriett Tubman and The Underground Railroad, Just to name a few.
The world we live in today takes that kind of strength to survive. YOU HAVE IT. Life is not full of flowery happenings, but with every valley, there is always a hill.
SO DON’T LET THE CIRCLE OF THIS LIFE TAKE YOU OFF YOUR COURSE. YOU MUST LOOK TROUBLE IN THE EYE AND HANDLE YOUR BUSINESS.
MUSIC HAS BEEN A TOOL THAT WE USE IN ALL OF OUR DAILY LIVES.
