We are of a Rich Black Culture. Do you teach your children and family the routine of coming together on Black History.
It is important that our children know the truth. Looking at all the information that was withheld and lie about from one degree to another, We must understand truly that knowledge is Power for Children. There are so many Hero and Sheros that make America what it is today. The children minds are working. I know many things they see just do not add up; As well as with us when we were growing up.
A weekly session is important because coming together blends hearts and minds together. We must have food at the sessions because food brings people close and everyone know a few good cooks. This coming together helps build trust and understanding with one another. Please try this with your family and friends. Just start a few people and watch how it will grow to be a richness among everyone. During these times together everyone has a chance to expressed themselves and feel like they are apart of a group. We have many people who have isolated themselves in their lives, for whatever reason. We have to be connected to each other. Being connected is a form of identification of existence, emotional, physiological, daily functions of life. When you are not connected, many emotional symptoms begin to show.
Do you have Black Art in your home? I know some of the art is pricy. First of all, start with the children and teens in the family that like to draw. Frame their work and put it on the wall in your home or office. This is a great positive reinforcement. You know how we would put our children work in the refrigerator. Same idea, put some in a frame. Remember everything starts at home.
Fathers show your family that you are the Comforter, Provider, Protector, and the person, along with the wife, to set standards for your family. Standards in a home give a love foundation. A wife wants a man that can take control of all situations and she can be the feminine side that can benefit the family. Women are tired of handling the full capacity of their family. Black Women needs a Black Man to handle with Love, Respect, and Kindness. Men need the feminine side to be complete. Women are waiting to release some of the many things she has had to do because of the lack of men and women coming together. Women need to be able to process life and the lives of her children without trying to deal with everything at one time. What I am speaking about takes time and patience with each other, and it can be done, but you have to start at some point. That means much forgiveness and compassion has to be handled by the man.
Our children have lost or never received proper instructions from a man in their life. Women can not raise a boy to be a man. The only thing a mother can do is nurture, clothe, feed, etc. It takes a man to show a boy how to be a man.
Fathers, the children need your presence in their lives. Daughter need to know about a man which she learns from her father. Daughters need to understand what a man is suppose to do so she can understand when she starts dating. Fathers teach daughters how to have pride in her-self and how to stand up for her self. Mother do that all, but there is something that a father teaches.
Many of our children all across the country are suffering because we are chasing the American Dream which is an illusion. Many parent have bought into this illusion and our children are along with it and do not know how to handle life on their own or with little instructions. Some spend more time with their careers than with their children. The school and daycares have replaced a Mother’s nurturing which is needed greatly. The Infant suffers from the separation from their mothers. It provides much stress. I do understand that the economy requires both parents, but some alternative measures have to be put in place so the Infant/Child does not suffer for something that have nothing to do with. Mothers who have to leave their young infants and toddlers to go to school or work must be addressed because the infants and toddlers are struggling to live. During this stage of development, there is a great need for much love and nurturing.
We have these beautiful homes but nobody is home. You are so busy being caught up in so much that takes you away from your home. It used to be a saying, “Home Is Where The Heart Is” because at one time home is were you were nurtured and you nurtured others. Home, for some people, has lost it’s great significance because you are bogged down with many bills.
As Frankie Beverly sings, “We Need Love To Live”
We are in full pursuit of obtaining material items to make us feel successful and happy. As you well know, it is never enough and the glass ceiling continues to climb and we keep missing the source of our strength directly in front of us which is Love and Family. Never let a day go by without telling your friends that you love them and appreciate them.
In the pursuit of striving for the illusion, we have missed the Royalty Love of the Black Family. We as a People have beginnings in Royalty; a history from over 5,000 years ago which is available to us from Our Ancestors. We must be willing to study and obtain the knowledge. You must connect with a Black Conscience Group where you are gain knowledge to be a leader for your family and community.
We are looking for help to solve problems for the Black Man and Woman. Stop looking outside of you but look in side of you.
Your Knowledge – Peace – Love – Wisdom – Gifts – Talents – Creativity are inside of you. Think About This! Everything you have written and/or painted or made came from the inside of you. Now is the time to take it to the next level of your life.
We have our Ancestors here to teach us; Call on Them. They will tell you, that you have the power but you will have to rethink the information that was given to when you
were growing up. You will begin to see the lies and so much misinformation that was told.
We are People of the earth and the earth belongs to us. Stand up and make your stake in this earth which the Gods/Goddess has allowed. We have a purpose to be in this world which is for you and your family.
Yes, we work in this society but we will not give them all our essence. Your work in this society is to provide for your family. The essence of who you are is devoted to your Culture, Development of our children, and preparing them to think on a dime and for themselves. Also our essence is being an asset to the Black Community and community at large.
Our Elders have a powerful role in the Black Community. We need their wisdom and understanding in building and equipping our people to stand and survive throughout all obstacles set in our culture.
In remembering all of what The Black Culture has blessed the World at large with.
My Brother and Sister, You must go within. Many have been brainwashed to look outside themselves for everything. We must change. Start teaching your children how to mediate to keep control of themselves. This can be done but we must be the positive role models for our children and family.
BLESSINGS TO YOU ‘SOMEONE CARES’
